Which has nothing to with anything but I do love Mary Poppins…
With nothing much of substance to write about, I’m lowered to the depths of yet another bullet point list for you all. I’m finding it difficult to get new blogging material when I’m so boring myself. Working from home doesn’t help…I get none of the commuter stories and nothing about colleagues just the day to day stuff of me. Anyway, for your light entertainment:
- Today we are going to look at new apartments. As our lease here is up on the 1st Feb (and as someone who likes to plan) it has been playing on my mind that we really need to get somewhere sorted. Today we are going to see somewhere in town, somewhere right down by the beach and somewhere out of town but brand new. From the pictures, the one by the beach is a front runner, but I think the out of town one might sneak up on us.*
- This means that soon we have to pack everything up…. I have a feeling that in just 11 months, we’ve gathered a whole load of stuff!
- I’m getting my hair done on Friday at somewhere new and i’m quite excited/scared. I’ve not had it cut since July because i’m too scared that they will mess it up….so fingers crossed that they don’t!
- I’m getting a bit more used to taking pictures with my new camera and took a few nice ones over Christmas and New Year….especially of the parade for Three Kings Day (6th Jan is their ‘present giving’ day here in Spain, when the Three Kings arrived in Bethlehem to give their gifts to the baby Jesus)
*We went for the one near the beach. It is up one bitch of a hill but I don’t care, it’s beautiful and wonderful and fingers crossed please that they hold it until our money has cleared into out bank! (Pictures to follow at some point and also a video tour once we’ve moved in)

I was watching Mary Poppins at the weekend! Were you?
Can’t wait to see photos of the new place. By the beach sounds wonderful, and a bitch of a hill will do wonders for your pins
Now I work on the third floor in the London office, I try to make myself walk up all the stairs every day. It’s like a mini workout twice a day and you almost don’t notice… (almost) x

Yes, I watched it at the weekend and sang along!
I think I might wait until we’re in there and take pictures of my own, estate agent pics are never great and don’t do it justice!
If we don’t want to walk up the hill, we have about 10 flights of stairs we could walk up instead!! I think it might be time to get a scooter! x

Your are a really good photographer! Good luck with your new place and moving.
P.S. Love the new layout of your blog – I just might have to move to word press myself.

Miss B thanks! I need a bit of practice but i’m getting better!
I have to fiddle with this layout a bit and change some of the CSS but it’s pretty easy to do! And wordpress is good for keeping track of comments!

Amazing photographs!!
I went through the no haircut thing for a while once I moved, it got really shaggy and nasty.
Oh and my family is moving again, but I won’t be in the country to help. I almost feel bad about that. Wait. No, not at all. I hate packing.

Kevin thank you!
I can’t wait to have my haircut, although I think the guy who is doing it is dreading it a bit as he’s been told by The Boy what a nightmare I am!
And I don’t mind moving, I did it a lot when I was younger so it’s more of an adventure for me! The only thing is, I always have to unpack straight away because I hate the chaos!

Isn’t it funny when other cultures celebrate differently to us?? The Russians here (in France) had Christmas yesterday! Very strange…
I want a house by the beach, please?
