Girl Help

Please…here are the facts:
- I had today off
- I was supposed to get my hair done
- My hairdresser is ill
- I’m ill….stupid flu cold thing and feel like crap
- Re-scheduled hair for next Thursday
- Also found another hairdressers that has won awards and sounds good
- New hairdressers will be about £100 whereas the old one will be more like £200
- I’m skint
- But i NEED my hair done, really i do and i’m not just being a girl about it, i promise
- I have a history of getting my hair ruined
So….do I:
a) just wait until next Thursday…at least i trust my current hairdresser not to mess up. Might be expensive but at least it will turn out ok
b) have tomorrow off and get it done at the new place and take a chance, it might be even better and save me a fortune
c) have tomorrow off and stay home and get better. Sod the hair.
d) call my current hairdressers and try and get an appointment for tomorrow hoping he’s better. and have the day off
*snot*

BIG FAT EDIT: i can’t have tomorrow off, i have stupid important work to do that no one else can do becasue they’re stupid.
To show you the hair in question, here is a short video i made….excuse the look, i’m ill don’t you know (which means hair very much NOT done, the same with make up, props and lighting)

This isn’t one of your listed options, but how about just going for a wash and blowdry now and waiting until your hairdresser is better for the cut? That way you get to feel a little pampered and tidier. Also do Holly’s suggestions and you’re bound to feel good.

Hmmmmmmmmm…. blokes have no idea about such things. (I mean hey, my missus cuts my hair…)
But for what it’s worth, I reckon give the new one a go. I mean for a £100 they must still be darn good, no? Surely they can’t be a complete Muppet for that money? OK, I’m thinking like a bloke aren’t I…..?
OK, here’s a better idea – get the boy to cut your hair. Much cheaper. And you don’t even need to leave the house. Result.

holly I think i’m going with the waiting, just becasue it’s less of a risk…but i’m having to skimp and just have a colour and no cut because i just can’t afford it!
Red It’s the colour i’m after…it’s a faded strawberry mess at the moment and i’m not liking it at all!! I’m going to try and guilt his arse into doing it for me on the cheap!!
CM hmmmm. clearly a boy’s point of view…. but thank you for trying anyway!

I don’t think it needs cutting – I’m with red on this one, a wash, blow dry and style before you go out and wait for the cut till you have money for your usual.

I’ll never have the money Petey pie…not really…. but i think i’m ok to wait a week! As long as it’s nice for Chrimbo….
Foxy you are biased! although it does look pretty cool, i might try it in the new year when i’m even more poor than i am now!

Your hair looks great, but if you really want it done go to the new place. They do say a change is as good as a rest……or something like that.

Your hair looks fab. In fact whenever you put up pics of your new hair-do, I always think, ‘Wow, what a great haicut’.
I don’t take chances with my hair. Sometimes I wait for almost a month to get an appointment from my usual hairdresser.
And I love your hair color too, very chic

Cool video! This means the boy definitely has to cut your hair.
And just in case he doesn’t get it QUITE right, you’ve saved £200 to buy a REALLY nice hat…

I’m such a bloke I know, but I can’t see anything wrong with your hair. If you would have said “look I’ve just had my hair done”, I would of probably said “Oh that looks nice”.
If someone with experience can personally recommend I’d go with the new hairdressers, if not stick with the old. You wouldn’t want a dodgy barnet for Christmas

Oh wait, I remember.
Sammy – you look dead ill. Drink stuff, snuggle. Listen to clever Ian’s advice, I know stuff.
a) 100 pounds is typical for girl’s hair. I have learnt this.
b) 200 pounds – too expensive. Stop it.
Take comfort in the fact that the best Spanish haircut probably costs about 7 euros and includes three cervezas and some tapas. Plus it will be sunny so you are less likely to get the lurgy.
Don’t let the boy cut your hair. No matter how drunk you get.

well, whatever has to wait til next week as i’m too full of snot to do anything at all…..
work is being posted to me to do from home tomorrow and The Boy is out fetching me something nice for dinner!
soupy and rebecca i guess it doesn’t look too bad in my little video, but it really is. all faded, like old wallpaper or something….
Chaotic we probably do…. to me my hair is important and i spend money on it!
Violet and Jo thank you i’m sitting it out and i think i might try and guilt trip the hair man into doing it cheaper!
inky no dodgy barnet for Christmas, i don’t need that!
Ian£200 is but it’s the last time before Spain…like you say, once we get there, i won’t be caring about it so much!

I say: wait for old hairdresser to get better. why take chances on new one? this way you can rest easy knowing he’ll do it right. try to get in tomorrow, otherwise if you can’t, go next week.
Feel better!! Lots of tea, rest, and foot massages (Boy).
